Hannah-Rei has been compared to several artist musicians including Alicia Keys, India Arie, and even Stevie Wonder, all of which she finds extremely flattering but modestly shrugs aside!  She is a ubiquitous singer-songwriter from the UK who is immersed in Soul, R&B, and Jazz music but finds the time between performing and studying for her Masters Degree to write some of the most beautifully crafted songs that cross over the genres, bringing her unique brand of vocal and harmony to add magic to Rap, Hiphop and other urban forms.

In November 2006 Hannah-Rei demonstrated her consumate professionalism when she won the MBF Songwriting Award with two of her R&B songs arranged for and backed by her seven piece band.  In July 2007 she graduated with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Music from Sir Paul McCartney’s inspired Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). She is now working on her MA in Songwriting at Bath Spa University.
